It is that time of the year when different national media outlets begin offering their opinion pieces regarding teams and coaches from across the county. Athlon Sports is one of those. They have ranked Butch Jones as the 10th best coach in the Sun Belt Conference, and had this to say about him:

Jones' tenure at Tennessee (34-27) ended with his dismissal, but he has successful previous stints on his resume from stops at Cincinnati (23-14 from 2010-12) and Central Michigan (27-13 from 2007-09).
