I just got off of the phone with Blake Anderson for this week's Sun Belt coaches teleconference. Below are a few notes from the call. I will have the interview transcribed shortly.
- Team began focus on correcting mistakes last night
- Receivers were told if the ball is in their catch radius they have to haul the catch in
- Several INT's were due to balls bouncing out of the hands or off of receivers
- Last INT is on Blake Anderson. He pushed the O to try to pass in questionable coverage
- Team is in a similar situation as they were last year after Lafayette
- Team being told not to panic, get back to fundamentals and work to win out
- Jaypee Philbert should be 100% this Saturday
- All other injuries are just bumps and bruises
